▍How it is computed
Balance is the node's value pool for this shielded pool at the last block of each UTC day. Inflow is value entering across the turnstile (shielding or migration in); outflow is value leaving (deshielding or migration out). Flows are gross, so they can both be large on a day the balance barely moves.
▍How to read it
Live since October 2018 and the workhorse pool until Orchard. Still used by many exchanges for withdrawals, which is why its gross flows stay high while its balance drifts down.
