Per-block value pool balances from the node, sampled at the last block of each UTC day. The turnstile guarantees these sums are exact: no value can enter or leave a pool without crossing the transparent boundary.

Sprout is a relic; Sapling peaked in 2022; Orchard carried the 2025 adoption wave and is now draining into Ironwood through the turnstile. The stack's height is the whole shielded economy.
